In simple terms a non-status bridging loan is one where the primary focus of the lender is on the value of the security. If the security is strong the lender will be less concerned with the clients past and more focussed on the positive plans they have for the future.

Status refers to the amount of financial information a potential borrower can produce to support their application and although non-status doesn’t necessarily mean that an applicant has credit problems, it does allow a loan application to be assessed with a strong focus on the value of the security and the borrowers proposed exit/redemption strategy. Crucially, even if clients have experienced financial difficulties such as County Court Judgements (CCJs) or even bankruptcy they can still potentially qualify for a non-status loan.

Some non-status bridging loans are serviced with regular monthly payments, but many are not, with interest paid up front out of the loan proceeds and repaid in full when the loan is redeemed. This type of loan structure allows the bridging lender to place less of an emphasis on affordability and gives applicants the opportunity to invest in a potentially profitable real estate projects that might otherwise be beyond their reach.

Given the above it is hardly surprising that non-status bridging loans are often an invaluable tool in the armoury of property developers and investors. Many don’t have substantial cash flow income, but a non-status loan will allow them to leverage their assets to complete a quick purchase that might otherwise pass them by. Sometimes this purchase might allow the acquisition of a property pending a planning application. Once the property has been secured the borrowers can then gain the required planning consent and switch to a mainstream development loan.

Non-status bridging loans can be arranged for all types of commercial and residential property including:

• Auction purchases
• Property development
• Refurbishment, renovation and conversion projects.
• Acquiring land (with or without planning permission)
• Refinancing existing investments

Finally, non-status bridging loans will typically be offered at slightly lower loan to values (LTV) than a loan that has been fully status assessed. They will also tend to attract slightly higher rates than standard bridging loans but the opportunities they offer to clients who would otherwise be unable to borrow more than outweigh these minor negatives. They play a key role in driving the property market.

Hidden in Clear View, an amateur video replete with little-known Bible truths, exposes centuries of lies that have divided Americans to their very core. Scripture after scripture is elucidated, and at times ancient drawings help paint a picture dramatically different from what mainstream America has been taught.

The physical characteristics of Moses, Joshua, Paul and many other Bible heroes were indisputably altered to cater to the mainstream, despite an abundance of evidence in the Bible that their physical appearance was far from that depicted in Hollywood, in books, and even taught in Churches.

The video creator wants to stimulate a new type of dialogue to heal racial tensions in America, and believes providing clear cut Bible passages that dispute myths is a good place to start. Perhaps the most notorious of these myths is “Ham’s curse” which has been used for centuries to justify murder, hatred, rape and subjugation of black people. According to the myth of Ham’s curse, God cursed Ham, the father of black people, clearing the way for whites to treat blacks however they choose.

Only, nowhere in the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, will one find a scripture that says God cursed Ham. It simply does not exist. Just as shocking to some is the fact that Ham was not the father of “black people”. He was the father of some black people. Genesis 9:25 was distorted from what it actually says, namely, that after Ham saw his father, Noah, drunk and naked he told his brothers, Shem and Japheth, who then covered up their father, Noah, without looking at him.

When Noah woke up he cursed one of Ham’s sons, Canaan, and of note, Joshua (who as the video demonstrates was also a man of color, being the descendant of an Egyptian woman, according to Genesis) was later commanded by God to annhilate the Canaanites in the Battle of Jericho. So, it was not God who cursed even one of Ham’s sons after all, it was Noah. As a matter of fact, the very next chapter of Genesis explains how God actually blessed Ham’s son, Cush, by making his descendant, Nimrod, the first mighty warrior on the earth.

Some well-meaning Christians, and many of their ancestors dating back hundreds of years, have been caught up in the lies simply because they were told these lies and they did not dispute them, nor did they research the Bible for themselves, lest they would have uncovered the truth.

Exodus 2 states Moses was indistinguishable from an Egyptian and Egyptians were descendants of Ham thru his son, Mizraim. Numbers 12 makes clear Moses’s wife was Ethiopian, a descendant of Ham thru his son, Cush. Yet, the media always depicts Moses and his family as having European features. Of note, Numbers 12 also says that God cursed Moses’ sister, Miriam, and turned her white, as if she had leprosy, after she spoke against Moses for marrying an Egyptian woman.

This is another scripture that has been taken out of context by some who say that white skin was a curse of God, but as with the case of the myth of Ham’s curse, Numbers 12 needs to be taken in its entire context. Anyone can take a scripture out of context as a pretext for what they want to do next, which is both foolish and potentially dangerous.

Acts 21 clearly states the Apostle Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament, was mistaken for an Egyptian, and, as noted above, Egyptians were brown people who were descendants of Ham thru his son, Mizraim. Self-drawings thousands of years old attest to the skin color of ancient Egyptians and that is but one indisputable fact that demonstrates how distorted most Americans’ perceptions of many Bible characters really is.
 
These examples only scratch the surface of long held Biblical untruths. Hidden in Clear View is a must-see video for every Christian and has unprecedented potential to help build fences, heal hearts and bring a unity to America it has never known before.

Singer-songwriter Reece J has released a social anxiety awareness video that he hopes will strike a chord with British youth.

The urban star, whose edgy track ‘Dance Theresa’ featuring the Prime Minister’s groovy moves, is hoping to raise awareness of mental health thanks to his new film, inspired by Bob Marley.

Moved by his friend who suffers with mental health issues, Reece J decided to release his new video Inner Strength on Facebook this week. 

He said: “Both of the actors in the video suffer from social anxiety and helped me create this.

“Social anxiety is an intense fear that affects everyday activities, self-confidence, relationships and work or school life. People suffering with it may overly worry about social activities such as meeting strangers, shopping or speaking on the phone.

“I just hope my new video, which has been launched to coincide with Mental Health Day, will bring them joy and motivation – along with everyone else who suffers. Everyone should listen to this song.” 

Reece J, who hails from West London, was a resident DJ and host at a number of well-known nightclubs in the capital. A former member of Official HTZ, he regularly attends the Grammy awards ceremony held in America.

He’s also a close friend of Ali Tennant, a British songwriter who has worked with One Direction, Nicki Minaj and Emeli Sande.
